Marisol Quevedo Rerucha, author of Beyond the Surface of Restorative Practices: Building a Culture of Equity, Connection, and Healing, is the CEO of Heartset Consulting Group and author consultant for The Core Collaborative, Inc. Marisol has worked in TK-12 public education and charter systems, serving as a teacher, principal, and district leader. While she is an experienced educator—having served as a teacher, principal, and district leader—Marisol leads with her humanity while honoring the humanity of others. She lives and works with authenticity and vulnerability while supporting the building and strengthening of communities, ensuring that voice, connection, and healing exist for all.
Together with individuals, communities, and systems, Marisol provides the guidance and framework that results in effective teams and high-trust organizations. The impact of her passion, experience, work, and voice is felt beyond her own community as she serves in the following roles: Board Member, Cihuapactli Collective; former Board Member and Treasurer, Youth Empowerments Finest; Founding Chair, UnidosUS National Institute for Latino School Leaders Alumni Council; and as a partner consultant with nonprofit, corporate, and educational systems.

He uses an innovative blend of kinesthetic, captivating processes designed to get people inspired for learning, and sustaining that learning for the long run.
As a seasoned corporate trainer and human development facilitator for over 25 years, a former classroom teacher and school administrator, he strikes the beautiful balance of deeply meaningful content with experiential process.
Solomon uses invigoration and vitality as core learning tools. Add that to the science on what works and you get instantly useful and memorable sessions. Solomon imbues everything he does with this energy: leadership development, educator training, conflict resolution, coaching, classroom teaching, interactive keynotes, organizational development processes, youth programming, outdoor adventure experiences, and large scale percussion programs.

George Couros is a worldwide leader in the area of innovative teaching, learning, and leading, and has a focus on innovation as a human endeavor. Most importantly, he is a proud father and husband.
His belief that meaningful change happens when you first connect to people’s hearts, is modeled in his writing and speaking. In his 20-plus years in the field of education, he has worked at all levels of school, from K-12 as a teacher, technology facilitator, and school and district administrator, and is currently an Adjunct Instructor with the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania.
George is also the author of the books, The Innovator’s Mindset; Empower Learning, Unleash Talent, and Lead a Culture of Creativity, Innovate Inside the Box , and his latest release, “Because of a Teacher” and “Because of a Teacher 2.“

Dr. Mike Winters currently serves as the Superintendent of the Saddle Mountain Unified School District. He has previously served as the Executive Director for Curriculum and Instruction in the Madison Elementary School District, the Principal of Madison Camelview Elementary School, and the Principal of Cheatham Elementary School. He began his career as a high school Biology and Chemistry teacher and taught middle school science before beginning his administrative career as an assistant principal. Dr. Winters is a Kagan Cooperative Learning school trainer and ambassador; he is passionate about the power of public education, the lasting impact it has on our students, and working with leaders to ensure all the students we serve receive a high quality education.

Dr. Kimberly Guerin currently serves as the Superintendent of Madison Elementary School District. Previously, she served Scottsdale Unified School District as the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services and the Paradise Valley Unified School District as the Assistant Superintendent of Leadership - Elementary, Director of Elementary Education, Assistant Director of Curriculum, and Principal of Echo Mountain Elementary School, a Title I school. She began her career as a teacher at the elementary level. Dr. Guerin is a trainer of “Facilitative Leadership” and enjoys working hand in hand with leaders to strengthen their skills in order to navigate the complex challenges associated with leading in public education.
